2. Roll up your sleeves and volunteers at our fundraising events.
We host a wide range of fundraising opportunities - like running the concession stand at various Roosevelt athletic events and all of our other fundraising activities. For these, we need people to help prepare the food items, and others to help sell at the event.
Other fundraising involves selling Zippy's tickets, Cookie Corner Cookies as well as our annual poinsettia sale on the first Saturday in December.
Still others require manpower - like a beach clean up, when we can schedule one.
3. Parents: encourage your students to volunteer. Students: encourage your parents. Together your family will make a difference.
Parents and students are both encouraged to participate. Some events, such as working at polling stations, limit the number of students that can help, but if you are ever in doubt, just email us.
